The Diversity in Science section was created in 2020 specifically to address issues around racism, inequality, and discrimination in science and medicine. Through interviews with experts and leaders in equity, diversity and inclusion, the goal of this section is to raise awareness of and find solutions to these important challenges.
Our vision is to provide accessible and safe spaces, physical and virtual, for students, alumni, and faculty of the Institute of Medical Science to connect and communicate science. We aim to leverage the diverse experiences of our team to contribute to enriching the IMS Magazine’s viewpoints and perspectives on science, health, and medicine.
